3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in Euros (€)
- Modest Mode participates in the Dutch small business scheme (Kleineondernemersregeling – KOR)
- As a result, no VAT (BTW) is charged or shown on invoices
- Payment must be completed before order processing
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time
4. Orders & Confirmation
Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details.
Modest Mode reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders in cases including but not limited to:
- Incorrect pricing or product information
- Suspected fraud or misuse
- Stock availability issues
5. Shipping (Netherlands)
- Orders are processed within 1–3 working days
- Delivery time: approximately 2–5 working days
- Shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services or external factors.
6. Returns & Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU consumer law, customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the order, without providing a reason.
Conditions for returns:
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
- No stains, perfume, odors, or damage
- Items must be returned in original packaging
⚠️ Hygiene Policy:
Due to the nature of our products (e.g., hijabs and garments worn close to the skin), we reserve the right to refuse returns if items show signs of use or hygiene concerns, in accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.
Return shipping costs:
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
7. Refunds
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days after receiving and inspecting the returned item
- We may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or proof of return has been provided
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to exchange an item, please return the product and place a new order.
9. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will provide an appropriate solution, such as replacement or refund, in accordance with applicable consumer laws.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Modest Mode shall not be liable for:
- Minor color differences due to display settings
- Damage resulting from improper use or handling
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Delays caused by third-party delivery services
